Oluremi Tinubu celebrates first baby of 2025

The First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on Monday, celebrated the first baby of the year at Asokoro General Hospital, Abuja, as part of her New Year outreach.

Represented by the wife of the Vice President, Hajia Nana Shettima, the First Lady congratulated the parents of baby Chioma Odion Oyigbo, a girl born at 12:27 a.m., weighing 3.6 kg.

She offered prayers for the newborn and urged the parents to prioritize their child’s health and well-being, emphasizing the importance of providing children with adequate attention and care.

Baby Chioma was presented with a birth registration certificate, along with gifts and cash, during the event. Other newborns at the hospital were also celebrated with gift presentations to mark their arrival.

In her New Year message, Senator Oluremi Tinubu assured Nigerians of President Bola Tinubu’s commitment to economic reforms aimed at placing the nation on a path to sustainable growth.

“As we journey through 2025, let us rise above our differences and rebuild the bridges that connect us—bridges of love, respect, and understanding,” the First Lady said.

“It is a year to invest in one another, to nurture our youth, protect the dignity of our elders, and create a country where every Nigerian can thrive, regardless of where they are born, what they believe, or what language they speak.”

She encouraged Nigerians to stand united, ensuring no one is left behind in the nation’s progress.”Together, we can build the Nigeria we all desire. Together, we will,” she added.
