PalmPay wins Leadership Fintech Company of the Year 2026 award

PalmPay, a leading digital banking platform, has been named the Fintech Company of the Year 2026 by Leadership, a Nigerian media organisation.

The award recognises the company’s contributions to Nigeria’s financial services sector, particularly its focus on digital banking, financial inclusion and the development of payment solutions for individuals and businesses.

PalmPay, a licensed Mobile Money Operator, has operated in Nigeria since 2019, providing digital financial services to millions of users and expanding access to payment and banking solutions.

The company said its platform supports digital transactions and provides financial products aimed at increasing economic participation, particularly among underserved communities.

PalmPay also provides payment solutions to micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, enabling businesses to receive and process payments through its digital infrastructure.

Speaking on the recognition, PalmPay’s Managing Director, Chika Nwosu, said the award reflected the confidence customers had placed in the company and the efforts of its employees.

“We are deeply honoured to receive the Leadership Fintech Company of the Year award. This recognition is a testament to the trust our customers place in us every day and the commitment of our team to continuously build financial services that are accessible, reliable and secure,” Nwosu said.

The company recently launched its “PalmPay Dey For You” campaign, which focuses on helping customers take greater precautions to protect their accounts and transactions.
