President Bola Tinubu on Thursday received governors, traditional rulers and prominent political leaders from the North-East geopolitical zone during an audience at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Among those at the meeting were Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum; Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni; Gombe State Governor Inuwa Yahaya; Adamawa State Deputy Governor Kaletapwa Farauta; former National Chairman of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Ambassador Babagana Kingibe; the Shehu of Borno, Alhaji Abubakar Ibn Umar Garbai El-Kanemi; former Senate President Ahmad Lawan; former Speaker of the House of Representatives Yakubu Dogara; and other key stakeholders from the region.
