Remo Stars’ NPFL triumph is testament to hard work – Tinubu’s Aide Adeboye

Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Grassroots Sports Development, Adeboye Anthony Adeyinka, has praised Kunle Soname and Remo Stars FC for clinching the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) title this season, describing it as a historic achievement for Nigerian football.

Adeboye noted that the victory is a result of years of hard work and resilience and predicted that the Ikenne-based club would reach even greater heights in the near future.

In a congratulatory message, Adeboye described Remo Stars’ success as a bold statement in Nigerian football and expressed confidence that the club would continue to excel not just locally, but also across Africa.

“Congratulations to my humble brother, Hon. Kunle Soname. It’s a great achievement. What has been worked for over the years has finally paid off, and I am very happy with his accomplishments,” he said.

“On behalf of myself and the entire staff and management of Smart City, I say congratulations to Kunle Soname and to all members and staff of the modest club,” he added.
