RHA to inaugurate diaspora youth coordinators in Canada

The Hope Uzodimma-led Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA) will inaugurate its Diaspora Arise Platform and Diaspora Youth Directorate Coordinators in Toronto, Canada, on August 10 as part of efforts to mobilise Nigerians abroad in support of President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and national development.

The event, scheduled to hold at the Ontario Investment and Trade Center in Toronto, is being coordinated by the RHA Youth Directorate and will be attended by Uzodimma alongside other leaders of the organisation.

In a statement signed by the Director of Youth of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Dr Mustapha Abdullahi, the group said the inauguration underscored what it described as growing global support for Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and the commitment of Nigerians in the diaspora to national development.

“The inauguration of RHA’s Diaspora Youth Coordinators underscores the growing global support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, the commitment of Nigerians abroad to national development and support for President Tinubu’s re-election in 2027,” the statement said.

The organisation said the Diaspora Youth Platform would serve as a strategic vehicle for mobilising young Nigerians across the world to contribute to nation-building, youth leadership, civic engagement and economic transformation.

“It also represents a strong affirmation that Nigerians in the diaspora remain critical stakeholders in the success of President Tinubu’s vision for a more prosperous and globally competitive nation,” the statement added.

According to the statement, the initiative aligns with the administration’s efforts to harness Nigeria’s human capital for sustainable development, stressing that the country’s greatest asset lies in “the resilience, innovation and entrepreneurial spirit of its people.”

The RHA said Nigerians abroad had continued to distinguish themselves in business, technology, medicine, academia, public service and other sectors, adding that the inauguration reflects its efforts to build a global network committed to promoting good governance, youth empowerment, national unity and economic growth.
