Shaibu Husseini, NFVCB will start classifying films under 48hrs

The executive director and Chief Executive Officer of the National Film and Video Censors Board, NFVCB, Shaibu Husseini has announced plans for a process of approving vetted films and other related content within six to 48 hours.
Husseini, recently, announced the plan in a media parley with representatives of various media houses saying content producers would start and complete the process of approval for their content from the comfort of their homes and offices.
The executive director and Chief Executive Officer said he was ready to walk the talk with introduction of innovations in content approval.
Husseini, who assumed office in March 2024 after his appointment by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, also said there are plans to educate the audience, youths and mothers, about content as there was a lot of illiteracy about content.
