Tinubu celebrates Ex-PUNCH Newspaper Chair, Ogunshola, at 80

President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Ajibola Olusanya Ogunshola, former Chairman of PUNCH Nigeria Limited, on his 80th birthday.

Chief Ogunshola is a distinguished Nigerian who has held numerous significant positions throughout his career. He served as Managing Director of Niger Insurance Plc, Chairman of the Committee of Actuaries advising the United Nations Pension Fund, and Chairman of Alexander Forbes Consulting Actuaries. Additionally, he was President of the Newspaper Proprietors’ Association of Nigeria (NPAN).

Ogunshola’s impressive academic and professional credentials include being a fellow of the Nigerian Mathematical Society and a past fellow of the Royal Statistical Society of England.

In a statement released on Saturday by his spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale, President Tinubu celebrated the Baaroyin of Ibadanland on reaching the venerable age of 80. He commended Chief Ogunshola for his numerous accomplishments and his invaluable contributions to the nation across various sectors.

President Tinubu also prayed for the continued well-being of Chief Ogunshola and his family, acknowledging the significant legacy he has built over the years.
