Tinubu hails Wike as ‘transformational leader’ at ICC commissioning

President Bola Tinubu has commended the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, describing him as a transformational leader with vision and determination.

The President made the remarks on Tuesday during the official commissioning of the newly rehabilitated International Conference Centre (ICC) in Abuja.

Western Post reported that the event centre has now been renamed the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre in his honour.

In his speech, President Tinubu urged Wike to remain focused and ignore detractors.

“Don’t pay attention to the busybodies and bystanders. Whatever they say, continue your good work,” he said.

“You are a transformational leader. You have the foresight, the vision, and the determination to succeed.”
