The African Democratic Congress’ aspirant for the House of Representatives seat for Akoko North East/Akoko North West Federal Constituency, Hon. Akingbola Ebenezer Akintunde, has criticised the performance of the incumbent lawmaker, Hon. Ife Ehindero for not meeting up to expectations.

While presenting his argument on Monday, the ADC aspirant said many communities in the federal constituency were yet to feel the impact of effective representation, while  alleging that the constituency had remained stagnant since APC’s Ehindero assumed office.

He lamented that residents were still grappling with challenges such as poor infrastructure, unemployment and lack of basic amenities.

According to him, occupying a seat in the National Assembly should translate into visible projects and policies that directly benefit the people, amid maintaining that the people of Akoko North East and North West deserved better representation that would prioritise development and empowerment.

He, furthermore urged constituents to support credible leadership capable of attracting federal presence and improving the living conditions of the people.
