Sanwo-Olu inaugurates LSSTF permanent headquarters in Ikeja

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has inaugurated the new permanent headquarters of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) in Ikeja.
According to the governor, the fund had operated from rented premises since its establishment in 2007.
He said the new building, completed 10 months after construction began, would provide a permanent coordination centre for the fund and improve its support for security agencies across the state.
According to Sanwo-Olu, the facility is expected to enhance response time, improve resource management and strengthen coordination among security formations.
The governor attributed the successful completion of the project to Sir Adebukunola Adebutu Kessington, who fully funded the building and donated five patrol vehicles to support security operations in Lagos.
He expressed gratitude to Kessington for his continued contributions to the state, describing security as fundamental to Lagos’ development and economic activities.
Sanwo-Olu urged security agencies to maximise the facility’s potential by strengthening their operations, protecting residents and creating a safer environment for businesses to thrive.
He also charged the security formations to respect citizens’ rights while carrying out their duties, stressing that the ultimate goal was to ensure that everyone in Lagos felt safe.
