President Bola Tinubu has urged Nigerians to remain hopeful, united, and determined in the face of the nation’s challenges, assuring that no obstacle is insurmountable when citizens work together with faith and resilience.
In his Easter message to the nation, President Tinubu encouraged Nigerians to draw strength from the season’s message of renewal and triumph over adversity, saying: “I urge all Nigerians to remain hopeful, united, and resolute in pursuing national progress. The task before us is enormous, but together, with faith and determination, there is no obstacle we cannot overcome. Our unity and resilience are our greatest strengths.”
The President acknowledged the economic difficulties and recent security concerns across parts of the country, expressing his condolences to those affected. He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to restoring peace and security, noting that the Armed Forces have been directed to decisively tackle insecurity.
“We are turning the tide and making steady progress in reclaiming peace and stability,” he stated, while also assuring that efforts to revive the economy and promote inclusive growth were yielding encouraging results.
As Christians around the world mark the resurrection of Jesus Christ, Tinubu said Easter serves as a powerful reminder of hope, sacrifice, and the promise of a better tomorrow. He added that he remains steadfast in delivering his Renewed Hope Agenda and building a more just and prosperous Nigeria.
He also prayed for continued strength for Pope Francis and called on Nigerians to allow the Easter message to inspire renewed faith in the country’s future.
“May the risen Christ bless our homes with peace and our nation with continued unity and prosperity,” the President said.
