Ex-Oyo SSG, Koleosho dies at 86
The former Secretary to the Oyo State Government (SSG), under late Governor, Alhaji Lam Adeshina, Chief Michael Koleosho, has died.
Koleosho, who was a prominent politician in Oyo State, died on Monday night at the age of 86.
He was the Babalaje of Saki, his hometown, and a renowned figure in Oke Ogun, Oyo State and Nigeria.
Earlier this year, Governor Seyi Makinde signed into law the bill to rename the Oke Ogun Polytechnic after Koleosho, who played a significant role in the establishment of the institution in 1981.
Koleosho was also a former National Chairman of Alliance for Democracy (AD).
As a leading figure in Afenifere/National Democratic Coalition (NADECO), he was a trusted ally of all Afenifere/NADECO Leaders, including the late Minister of Justice and Attorney – General of the Federation, Chief Bola Ige, SAN, and the former Interim National Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Bisi Akande.
