Media personality Toke Makinwa unveils daughter’s face on first birthday

Media personality Toke Makinwa has revealed her daughter, Yakira’s, face for the first time as she celebrated the child’s first birthday.

The On-Air Personality took to her official Instagram page on Friday to share stunning pictures of her daughter, describing her as her greatest blessing.

She wrote, “The best part of my story, finally yours to meet. Yakira Ekian. My precious answered prayer. My greatest love. My greatest blessing. One year of you and today, I finally share a little piece of my heaven with the world”.

The media personality, who had earlier slammed online trolls who demanded to see her daughter’s face, gushed over her daughter in the new post. She described Yakira’s birth as a testimony to God’s presence, writing, “God is real. Just like Hagar, my mouth can testify that I have met El Roi, the God who sees me”.

In another post, Toke expressed her admiration for her daughter and offered prayers for her.

“I kept my greatest blessing close… until now. Happy first birthday to my daughter, Yajira Eliana. The world is so much because you’re in it. One today. A lifetime of loving and celebrating you to go. Your life is ordained, therefore it is blessed. God brought you to this side of eternity and you make your Maker proud,” she wrote.

During the Mother’s Day celebration on March 15, Toke had earlier expressed her delight at embracing motherhood, describing her first Mother’s Day as a mother as a special experience.

She also spoke about the challenges of motherhood, describing the experience as the “ghetto”, but said she would gladly go through the process again if given the opportunity.
