PHOTO NEWS: Tinubu, governors perform Umrah in Makkah
President Bola Tinubu, Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni and Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, on Friday performed Umrah in the holy city of Makkah, Saudi Arabia, offering prayers for Nigeria.
The delegation also included the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, and the Director-General of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, Senator Abdul’Aziz Abubakar Yari, among other government officials.
During the pilgrimage, Tinubu and the other Nigerian officials offered prayers of gratitude to Almighty Allah and sought divine guidance and protection for the country.
Umrah, also known as the lesser pilgrimage, is a religious rite performed by Muslims in Makkah and can be undertaken at any time of the year, unlike Hajj, which takes place during a specific period in the Islamic calendar.
