Police arrest man with human body parts in Abuja
Operatives of the FCT police command attached to Iddo police division have arrested Nuhu Ezra of Gosa KipiKipi village in Lugbe, Abuja, with a human skull and bones.
A statement issued by the Spokesperson for the Command, Josephine Adeh and posted on the command’s official X handle, said the suspect was found with the body parts upon interrogation.
According to the statement, the suspect confessed to have picked them up from the bish while hunting at Kuje and had the intention to sell the body parts for N600,000?
“Acting on credible intelligence, trailed and arrested one Nuhu Ezra ‘m’ of Gosa Kipikipi village, Lugbe, Abuja, with a human skull and bones.
“The suspect, who was found with the body parts upon interrogation, stated that he picked them up from the bush while hunting at Kuje and had the intention to sell the body parts for six hundred thousand naira (N600,000).
“While the commissioner of police, FCT, CP Benneth C. Igweh, psc, mni, has ordered that a thorough investigation be conducted to ascertain the bearer of the body parts, the intended buyer, if the suspect killed anyone to be in possession of the body parts, and how long the suspect has been in the alleged business, he urges residents to be wary of their environment and report suspicious activities through the police emergency lines: 08032003913, 08028940883, 08061581938, and 07057337653 PCB: 09022222352, CRU: 08107314192”, the statement read.
