Tinubu congratulates Aliko Dangote on birthday, hails economic impact

President Bola Tinubu has congratulated renowned industrialist and business magnate, Aliko Dangote, on his birthday, describing him as a key driver of industrial growth in Nigeria and across Africa.

In a statement issued on Friday by his spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga, the President commended Dangote for his contributions to economic development through investments in manufacturing, petrochemicals, and infrastructure.

President Tinubu said the business achievements of Aliko Dangote have helped position Nigeria as a major hub for large-scale industrial production, particularly through projects such as the Dangote Refinery and cement manufacturing operations across the continent.

He noted that Dangote’s enterprises have contributed significantly to job creation, infrastructure development, and confidence in Nigeria’s economy, adding that his business model continues to inspire emerging African entrepreneurs.

The President also highlighted the philanthropist’s humanitarian efforts through the Dangote Foundation, particularly in the areas of healthcare support, education, and poverty reduction.
