“You are doing an excellent job,” Tinubu tells Ribadu

President Bola Tinubu has commended the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, declaring that he is “doing an excellent job” in coordinating Nigeria’s fight against banditry and terrorism.

Speaking during the inauguration of projects on Monday in Adamawa State, the President praised Ribadu’s performance and leadership in tackling insecurity across the country.

“I must say clearly here that you are doing an excellent job, and we have seen the results. With you, we will defeat the bandits and terrorists,” Tinubu said

The President further described the NSA as honest, bold, courageous and committed, adding that both he and the people of Adamawa State are proud of Ribadu’s service.

Tinubu’s remarks come amid a recent public disagreement between Ribadu and former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rifia.

El-Rufai had alleged that the Office of the National Security Adviser procured about 10 kilogrammes of thallium sulphate, a toxic substance. The allegation sparked controversy, with the Office of the NSA denying the claim and asking the former governor to provide evidence to the Department of State Services (DSS) for investigation.
