VP Shettima arrives Ramat Square for Eid al-Fitr prayers in Maiduguri
Vice President Kashim Shettima has arrived at Ramat Square in Maiduguri, Borno State, to observe the Eid al-Fitr prayers alongside Muslim faithful marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
He arrived at the prayer ground in the company of Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum and the Deputy Governor, Umar Usman Kadafur.
The Shehu of Borno, Abubakar Ibn Umar Garbai Al-Amin, was also in attendance.
Other dignitaries present include Senator Kaka Shehu Lawan, Senator Ali Ndume, members of the House of Representatives such as Usman Zannah, Abdulkadir Rahis, Bukar Talba and Uba Ahmadu Maigari, Minister of State for Regional Development.
Also present were members of the Borno State Executive Council as well as key political stakeholders and party leaders who joined the Eid prayers.
