The Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Akeem Owoade, on Friday called for unity and moderation ahead of his coronation, which is slated for tomorrow, 5th April 2025.

He emphasized that promoting vendetta, persecution, and acrimony would bring no good to the community.

This was stated in a release issued by the Director of Media and Publicity to the Alaafin, Bode Durojaiye, and obtained by Western Post on Friday.

The statement read, “Oba Owoade urges the people to celebrate with moderation. Beating the drums of vendetta, persecution, and acrimony brings no good.
