Broda Shaggi hints at comeback months after alleged shooting

Nigerian skit maker and actor, Samuel Perry, also known as Broda Shaggi, has broken his silence months after he was reportedly shot while filming in Ogun State.

Shaggi was allegedly shot in the leg in March while filming around the Sango-Ota Bridge. He was initially taken to a hospital in Alakuko, Lagos, before reportedly being transferred to another facility in Ikeja.

Since the incident, the comedian has largely stayed away from the public, leaving fans waiting for updates about his condition and possible return to entertainment.

However, in a recent message shared on his WhatsApp channel, Shaggi thanked his fans for standing by him despite his prolonged absence. He acknowledged that he had been unable to connect with them as much as he wanted but said their continued support had helped him through the difficult period.

The skit maker said he was not yet ready to reveal everything about what happened, but assured his supporters that he had not forgotten them and was looking forward to returning to the public.

Shaggi also hinted at a comeback, promising to return stronger and better while expressing gratitude to those who continued to support him despite his silence.

“I wish I could tell y’all everything right now… but I can’t. Not yet. Just know I haven’t forgotten about you, and I haven’t stopped thinking about the day I can finally come back and really be ME with y’all again,” he said.
