First Lady felicitates with christians and muslims on Lenten and Ramadan seasons

The First Lady Oluremi Tinubu, has extended her warm wishes to Christians and Muslims across the country as they commence the sacred seasons of Lent and Ramadan on Wednesday, February 18, 2026.

In her Lenten message, the First Lady encouraged Christians to embrace the period as a time of spiritual growth, self-reflection, and a deeper commitment to following Christ’s example of love.

She prayed that prayers and acts of compassion and kindness would strengthen faith and positively impact relationships with others.

She also urged citizens to remember Nigeria in their prayers for peace and prosperity, wishing all Christians a blessed and fulfilling Lenten season.

Addressing Muslim faithful on the commencement of Ramadan, Senator Tinubu felicitated with them as they begin the holy month of fasting and prayer.

She prayed that the sacred period would bring peace, joy, and spiritual fulfillment to families and the nation at large. She further called on Muslims to remember Nigeria in their supplications, asking that Almighty Allah accept their prayers, forgive their sins, and grant the country greater peace and prosperity.

The First Lady reaffirmed the importance of unity, faith, and collective prayers for the continued progress of the nation.
