JUST IN: Former Ondo police spokesperson dies in road crash

Former Ondo State Police Public Relations Officer, Barrister Femi Joseph, has reportedly died in a road accident on the Ife-Ilesha Expressway.
The tragic incident occurred on Monday, October 26, 2026, according to a statement released by a family member announcing his death.
The family expressed sadness over the loss, describing Joseph’s death as sudden and devastating to his loved ones, friends and professional associates.
It also urged the public to disregard claims that the former police spokesman was kidnapped, insisting that he died in a road crash.
The family said the circumstances surrounding his death underscored the unpredictability of life, while appealing to the public to avoid circulating unverified information about the incident.
In the announcement, the family prayed for God to grant Joseph eternal rest and give those affected by his death the strength to cope with the loss.
