Toluwanisings’ widow breaks down, begs late husband not to forget her, children

Elizabeth Olayemi, widow of late gospel musician Olayemi Bayonile Bolaji, popularly known as Toluwanisings, has pleaded with her deceased husband not to forget her and their children.

She made the emotional appeal on Tuesday evening during the singer’s tribute night and service of songs held in Ibadan, Oyo State.

Elizabeth broke down in tears as she expressed how much she would miss her husband.

“Toluwanisings, my dear husband, I will forever miss you. Please don’t forget your children and me,” she said.

The event was attended by prominent artistes and other sympathisers who gathered to pay their last respects to the late gospel musician.

Her emotional appeal comes amid an ongoing disagreement between her and her husband’s family over where he should be buried.

According to reports circulating online, Elizabeth reportedly opposed plans to bury him at their home in Ibadan, insisting that he should instead be laid to rest in a cemetery.
