Brown Kabiti marks 50th birthday with worship concert in Lagos

Brown Kabiti, husband of media personality Morayo Afolabi Brown, has celebrated his 50th birthday with a special concert to celebrate God’s faithfulness.

The event, themed “Songs and Stories of Brown Kabiti at 50”, attracted guests dressed in white to the RCCG Redemption Pavilion, Victoria Island, Lagos, on Saturday for moments of worship, gratitude and celebration.

Sharing pictures and moments from the event on his social media pages, Brown wrote: “Our all-white event, Songs & Stories of Brown Kabiti, went well. The name of the Lord was glorified, and I am satisfied. Hallelujah”.

Brown had earlier announced the celebration on his Facebook page, describing the milestone as a special and personal one. He reflected on his experiences over the past five decades and expressed appreciation for the journey so far.

Ahead of the celebration, Morayo had showered praises on her husband while reflecting on their journey together as a couple.

She disclosed that, having grown up alone, she found friendship and companionship in her husband, despite the fact that they did not spend enough time building a strong friendship before marriage.

She further revealed that, throughout their 15 years of marriage, Brown had been her critic, cheerleader, confidant and business partner.

Morayo wondered what she would have done if she had to find those qualities in different people.
