Makinde appoints Fasina as Oyo Head of Service

Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has appointed Mrs. Adenike Ayobami Fasina as the new Head of the State Civil and Public Service.

Fasina succeeds Mrs. Olubunmi Olufunke Oni, who recently retired from service.

The appointment was announced on Friday in a statement made available by the state government.

Fasina, an indigene of Eruwa, joined the Oyo State civil service in 2000 and rose through the ranks to become permanent secretary in the Ministry of Finance.

She is also a member of the National Institute, mni, and a two-time recipient of the Oyo State Merit and Productivity Award.

The governor also approved the appointment of 20 new executive secretaries and general managers across various agencies in the state public service.

Makinde’s administration said the appointments were part of efforts to strengthen governance and improve service delivery across the state.
