OAP Do2dtun clashes with X user over Odukoyas’ marital affairs, family legacy

On-air personality Oladotun Kayode, popularly known as Do2dtun, has clashed with an X user over comments about the marital affairs of the Odukoya family and their parents’ legacy.
The disagreement started on Monday after the user, identified as Daniel Whalee, reflected on how late Pastor Bimbo Odukoya, a renowned relationship counsellor and televangelist, devoted her life to her “Single and Married” ministry, yet two of her children had experienced divorce while another was allegedly unmarried.
He ended his post with the words, “This life no balance. Just pray for grace”.
Whalee’s post followed the public confirmation of her divorce by Pastor Tolu Odukoya-Ijogun, the eldest daughter of the late cleric, during a podcast.
Around the same period, her brother, Pastor Jimmy Odukoya, announced that he was entering a new phase of his life after the end of his first marriage. He later introduced his new wife to members of the congregation at Fountain of Life Church.
Reacting to the post, Do2dtun challenged Whalee’s claim, pointing out that the youngest sibling, Tobi, was still married and had three children.
He argued that an individual’s marital challenges or choices should not be used to measure their parents’ achievements or legacy. He added that everyone’s life journey was different and should not be used as a basis for judging or ridiculing others.
The exchange escalated into a public argument, with both men trading harsh words. Neither Pastor Tolu nor Pastor Jimmy had commented on the disagreement as of the time of filing this report.
