Queen Haastrup backs women’s inclusion, thanks Adeleke, Ijesa for support

Queen Omolara Haastrup, wife of His Imperial Majesty Oba Adesuyi Clement Haastrup, the Owa Adimula of Ijesaland, has reaffirmed her commitment to promoting women’s inclusion and development in the region.
In a statement made available to journalists, Queen Haastrup expressed gratitude to the traditional kingmakers, chiefs, and people of Ijesaland for their role in selecting her husband as the paramount ruler.
She also appreciated Governor Ademola Adeleke and the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs for approving her husband’s appointment.
The Queen called on the people of Ijesaland to support Oba Haastrup’s reign, assuring them of purposeful and people-centered leadership.
Emphasizing the role of women as pillars of families and society, Queen Haastrup pledged to champion women’s empowerment and engagement as part of the activities of the Owa Adimula’s reign.
She also welcomed dignitaries and guests to the coronation ceremony of her husband.
