Tinubu, Obasanjo, Atiku to grace Owa Obokun’s coronation

President Bola Tinubu, former President Olusegun Obasanjo, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, and other prominent Nigerians are expected to attend today’s coronation ceremony of the new Owa Obokun of Ijesaland, Oba Clement Adesuyi Haastrup, Ajimoko II.
Addressing journalists on Friday, Chairman of the Coronation Media Committee, Mr. Shola Oshunkeye, confirmed the arrival of Chief Obasanjo.
Oshunkeye disclosed that President Tinubu is expected at the coronation, as an official invitation had been extended to him.
His words: “Last night, we received the former President of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo, in Ilesa. Atiku Abubakar and his wife are also expected, though they have not arrived yet.
“President Bola Tinubu is scheduled to attend the coronation, unless there is a change in plans. If he is unable to come, Vice President Kashim Shettima will represent him.
“Today, we are ready to receive high-profile Nigerians from within and outside the country for this coronation, and adequate security has been put in place.”
