Yahaya Bello in our custody- EFCC confirms

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has confirmed the arrest of the former Kogi State former governor, Yahaya Bello.

In a viral video online, the anti-graft agency through its Spokesman, Dele Oyewale, said Bello had been detained, saying that he would be quizzed over the allegations leveled against him.

“Yes, he (Yahaya Bello) was arrested today around 12:54 PM, together with three of his lawyers. He is having a session with our investigators and is now in our custody”, said Oyewale.

It would be recalled that Bello was alleged of misappropriating over N110 billion public funds in the state.
