Tinubu congratulates BusinessDay publisher Frank Aigbogun at 70
President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Publisher of BusinessDay newspaper, Frank Aigbogun, on his 70th birthday, describing him as a distinguished journalist and media entrepreneur.
Aigbogun will clock 70 on Sunday, November 1.
In a statement he personally signed on Saturday, Tinubu commended the publisher for his contributions to the growth of business journalism, economic reporting and informed public discourse in Nigeria.
The President also praised his commitment to responsible journalism and for providing a platform for insightful analysis of economic policies, investment opportunities and developments shaping the country’s business environment.
Tinubu noted that BusinessDay had helped strengthen connections among the media, private sector, policymakers and the investing public through credible business reporting.
He said experienced media professionals such as Aigbogun remained invaluable to Nigeria’s institutional development and the advancement of business journalism, particularly at a time the country was undergoing economic reforms.
“As he celebrates this milestone, I wish him good health, renewed strength, and greater accomplishments in the years ahead,” the President said.
