AbdulRazaq appoints ex-Rep Mashood Mustapha Kwara Ameerul Hajj for 2027

Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has appointed Alhaji Mashood Mustapha, the Wakili of Ilorin Emirate, as Ameerul Hajj for the state’s 2027 Muslim pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia.
His appointment was contained in a statement issued in Ilorin on Thursday.
Mustapha, popularly known as MM, is an entrepreneur, public servant and community leader.
He is the chairman of Crystal Group of Companies and a former cabinet member of the Kwara State Government.
Mustapha also represented a Kwara constituency in the House of Representatives from 2011 to 2015.
He is an alumnus of Kwara State Polytechnic, Lagos State University and Rome Business School in Italy.
According to the statement, Mustapha will coordinate the state’s 2027 Hajj operations in collaboration with relevant statutory bodies and government agencies.
The appointment places him in charge of coordinating the state’s pilgrimage contingent and related activities ahead of the 2027 Hajj exercise.
