Badaru attends global summit on defence, security in Paris

Defence Minister Mohammed Badaru last week attended a global event for defence and security, held in Paris, the French capital.

In the event tagged EUROSATORY 2024, the minister was said to have met with the French Minister of Defence, Sébastien Lecornu, and the Director General of Armaments (DGA), Emmanuel Chiva, at a reception cocktail organized for the participants.

The summit provided an excellent opportunity for the Minister to engage in meaningful discussions with key international counterparts and defence industry leaders.
Minister Abubakar also attended the exhibitions showcasing the latest innovations and advancements in defence and security technology.
His participation underscored Nigeria’s commitment to enhancing its defence capabilities and fostering international cooperation in security matters.

The Minister’s presence at EUROSATORY 2024 also facilitated valuable networking opportunities, enabling the exchange of ideas and potential collaborations that will benefit Nigeria’s defence sector.
