Inuwa said trust is a critical pillar of the digital economy, stressing that secure systems and robust cybersecurity frameworks are essential for innovation, economic growth and national development. He noted that strengthening confidence in digital platforms would accelerate adoption across sectors.

He reaffirmed NITDA’s mandate to create an enabling environment through forward-looking policies that support innovation without promoting specific technologies, adding that government interventions are designed to stimulate markets and empower citizens and businesses.

The Director-General also reiterated Nigeria’s openness to investments that enhance digital infrastructure and services, emphasising that sustainable development is best driven by private sector participation under supportive regulatory frameworks.
