Nollywood actress Ada Ameh is dead
Nollywood actress Ada Ameh, popularly known as Emu in TV soap The Johnsons is dead.
WesternPost gathered that the actress died Sunday night aged 48.
President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Emeka Rollas confirmed her death.
The actress who had been battling health related issues slumped at an outing in Delta State on Sunday and was pronounced dead by doctors at a health facility where she was rushed to.
Ameh spent more than two decades in the Nigerian movie industry and was most notable for her character as Anita in 1996 movie titled “Domitilla” and as Emu Johnson in the award winning Nigerian Tv series titled The Johnsons.
Those close to her said the death of her only child compounded her health challenges and she did not overcome the devastating loss.
She lost her daughter, Aladi God gift, who was over 30 years old on October 20, 2020 after an unsuccessful surgery in Abuja.
