President Tinubu promotes Ibrahim Masari as Special Adviser on Political Affairs
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Alhaji Ibrahim Kabiru Masari, a close ally, as Special Adviser on Political Affairs.
The appointment was confirmed on Thursday in a statement by Bayo Onanuga, the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy.
Masari, who first served in the role in 2023 as Senior Special Assistant, previously held the position of welfare secretary in the ruling party during Senator Adams Oshiomhole’s chairmanship.
He will now work alongside Alhaji Yau Darazo, who was appointed Special Adviser on Political and Intergovernmental Affairs in July 2023.
