Pro-Tinubu group gets campaign office in Ibadan ahead of 2027 elections

A political mobilisation group, PBAT AGAIN 2027, has intensified grassroots campaign activities in Ibadan, Oyo State, with the commissioning of a new state office aimed at building support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The office was officially unveiled on Sunday at Oke-Bola, Ibadan, during an event attended by party leaders, stakeholders, and supporters.

The convener of the group, Amb. Victor Kunle Adeleke, described the initiative as a structured platform for grassroots mobilisation and political coordination.

He said the group is focused on strengthening political engagement and ensuring continuity in national development.

According to him, “The office represents a political idea and a shared commitment to continuity, stability, and progress,” adding that, “The movement is not just symbolic but aimed at consolidating governance achievements and strengthening grassroots participation.

The Oyo State coordinator of the group, Alhaji Olatunde Sunmonu, revealed that the office would serve as a hub for mobilisation, consultation, and engagement across the state, while commending the leadership behind the initiative.

Leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state, including the party chairman, Alake Adeyemo, described the development as part of efforts to strengthen support for the president ahead of the next election cycle and urged unity among party members.

Other stakeholders and political figures who attended the event also praised the initiative, describing it as a step toward strengthening grassroots political structures in Oyo State.
