Senator Buhari organises skill acquisition programme for 120 women in Oyo

The senator representing Oyo North Senatorial District, Senator Buhari Abdulfatai, has organised a three-day capacity building training for women in the district aimed at equipping participants with practical skills to improve their livelihoods and strengthen local economies.
The programme was held at Alalukimba Centre, Atori, Iseyin, from Wednesday to Friday, and brought together 120 women from across Oyo State.
Speaking at the event, Senator Buhari said the initiative was designed to provide hands-on training that would enable beneficiaries to start or expand small businesses.

He explained that the training was structured to improve household incomes and enhance the economic capacity of women in the district.
He added that the participants were exposed to practical sessions that could be directly applied to their daily economic activities.
The senator expressed satisfaction with the turnout and the engagement level of the beneficiaries throughout the programme.
He noted that the initiative would have a lasting impact on families and communities across Oyo North.
“We just wrapped up a very impactful three-day capacity building training for women in Oyo North Senatorial District, held at Alalukimba Centre, Atori, Iseyin, from Wednesday to Friday this week. We brought together 120 women from across Oyo State to equip them with practical skills that can transform their livelihoods,” Senator Buhari shared via his media handles after the event.
