Shettima represents Tinubu at commissioning of new Court of Appeal building in Abuja
Vice President Kashim Shettima has arrived at the newly constructed Court of Appeal Building (Abuja Division) in Dakibiyu District, Abuja, for its official commissioning.
The commissioning marks another major investment in judicial infrastructure, aimed at strengthening the administration of justice and improving the working environment for judicial officers.
The project comes amid increased funding for the judiciary, with the Federal Government approving statutory transfers totaling ₦342 billion since 2024, compared to ₦165 billion previously allocated.
The event follows the recent commissioning of major road projects in the Kuje and Dape districts of Abuja by the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), reflecting ongoing infrastructure development efforts under the current administration.
Vice President Shettima is representing President Tinubu at the ceremony, which is expected to attract senior judicial officers, government officials, and other stakeholders in the justice sector.
