Tinubu arrives Abuja from South Africa

President Bola Tinubu has returned to Abuja from South Africa on Thursday evening after attending the inauguration ceremony of South Africa’s President Cyril Ramaphosa for a second term of office.

Tinubu arrived in Abuja at about 5:30 pm, as reported by Punch newspaper, at the Namdi Azikiwe international airport.

Western Post Online reported that Tinubu departed from Lagos to Pretoria on Tuesday to attend the inauguration of the South African President, Ramaphosa.

During his visit, Tinubu engaged in diplomatic, economic, and bilateral discussions with Ramaphosa, culminating in the inaugural ceremony held Wednesday in Pretoria.

The details of the meeting, which took place behind closed doors, were revealed in a press release issued by his spokesperson, Ajuri Ngalale.

Ngalale quoted Tinubu as saying that Ramaphosa’s speech captured the core challenges faced by African countries and emphasized the need for more collaboration among leaders and citizens to provide solutions.
