Tinubu resumes official duties, meets with FIRS Chairman

President Bola Tinubu returned to his official duties at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa in Abuja on Monday, where he was pictured at his desk receiving a briefing from Zacch Adedeji, Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS).
The meeting marks Tinubu’s latest engagement as he continues to focus on governance and economic matters.
According to photos posted by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser Information and Strategy to President Tinubu via his X account on Monday showed Tinubu in a working session, with the tax chief.
It read, “President Bola Tinubu at his desk this morning, after returning from a two-week vacation. Mr President received a briefing from Zaccheus Adedeji, Chairman, Federal Inland Revenue Service. Abuja, Monday, October 21, 2024.”
WESTERN POST reports that Tinubu arrived in Abuja on Saturday after a two-week working vacation in the United Kingdom and France.
The President had departed from Abuja on October 2.
