Nollywood thespians felicitate Toyosi Adesanya as she welcomes first child

Nollywood actors and actresses have felicitated their colleague, Toyosi Adesanya, and her husband, Bola Adejobi, as they welcome their first child through surrogacy after seven years of marriage.

The 55-year-old actress made the announcement in an emotional video posted on Instagram on Saturday to celebrate the child’s arrival. In the video, she was visibly moved to tears as she embraced her husband while praying intensely.

The delegation that came bearing gifts for the newborn included Fausat Balogun, popularly known as Madam Saje, Antar Laniyan, Odunlade Adekola and Bisola Badmus, among others.

Fans and well-wishers have continued to pour in congratulatory messages, to the delight of the couple.

Toyosi Adesanya is a Nigerian actress renowned for her roles in both Yoruba and English-language films. She has featured in several productions, including Wasila Coded Reloaded (2022), King of Thieves (2022) and Ìyálóde (2025), among others.
