BREAKING: Former Delta governor Emmanuel Uduaghan reported dead

Former Delta State Governor, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan, has reportedly died, according to sources close to his family.

The sources confirmed the development on Monday to the an online publication, although details surrounding his reported death remained unclear as of the time of filing the report.

“Uduaghan is no more; he is dead,” one of the sources was quoted as saying.

The report comes months after Uduaghan’s family dismissed rumours of his death that circulated on social media in June, triggering concern among residents and political stakeholders in Delta State.

His media aide, Henry Unini, had debunked the reports, insisting that the former governor was alive and receiving medical attention.

“I can tell you for a fact that Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan is alive,” Unini said at the time, while acknowledging that the former governor had been experiencing health challenges.

Unini maintained that Uduaghan was receiving proper medical care and recuperating, urging the public to avoid spreading unverified information about his health.

As of the time of filing this report, further details about the circumstances surrounding Uduaghan’s reported death had yet to emerge.
