Insecurity: Plateau Governor visits Tinubu at Aso Rock

Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang on Wednesday met with President Bola Tinubu in Abuja following the recent deadly attacks in parts of the state that left several residents dead.
The meeting comes after gunmen attacked communities in Jos North Local Government Area, where about 28 people were reportedly killed and many others injured.
President Tinubu on Tuesday held meetings with security chiefs and directed security agencies to intensify efforts to arrest the perpetrators and prevent further attacks.
The President also summoned the governor for high-level discussions aimed at finding lasting solutions to the security challenges in the state.
Reacting to the incident, President Tinubu strongly condemned the killings, describing the attacks as “barbaric and cowardly.”
He said those who attack innocent and defenceless citizens under the cover of darkness are “heartless cowards” and assured Nigerians that the perpetrators would face justice.
