Nollywood actor Sholagbade reunites with ex-lover to celebrate son’s graduation

Nollywood actor Mustapha Sholagbade and his ex-lover, Dewunmi Fatai, came together to celebrate their son, Yasir, as he marked his 10th birthday and Quranic graduation ceremony. Yasir also unveiled his charity organisation at the event.

Recall that Dewunmi had called out Mustapha in 2024, accusing him of being a deadbeat father. She highlighted several responsibilities she claimed he had neglected regarding Yasir’s upbringing. The issue prompted the intervention of colleagues in the entertainment industry, who helped resolve the dispute.

The former couple reunited on Thursday to celebrate their son’s achievement at the Walimot-ul-Quran ceremony, where Yasir officially unveiled the Yasir Diamond Foundation.

Videos from the event showed the former couple seated together as their son recited verses from the Holy Quran in the presence of family members, friends and well-wishers.

During his vote of thanks, Yasir outlined the objectives of his foundation, which include providing support for school fees, assisting with hospital bills and offering food relief to the less privileged.

The star-studded event attracted several Nollywood celebrities, who attended in white outfits.

Among those present were Kunle Afod, Kunle Afolayan, Yetunde Barnabas, Zainab Bakare and Lateef Adedimeji.
