Turkish journalist Ali Naci Kucuk has revealed that Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen rejected an offer from renowned football agent Jorge Mendes.
Mendes, who previously represented Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, reportedly made the approach through his chief adviser, Umberto Saldavor.
Speaking to 343 Digital, Küçük said Saldavor travelled to Istanbul three weeks ago to meet with Osimhen and discuss a potential representation deal.
“During the offer, he used the phrase, ‘Barcelona, Real Madrid, whichever you want, I can take you there,’” Küçük said.
However, Osimhen reportedly turned down the offer, insisting that he was satisfied with his current arrangement.
“Osimhen rejected this offer: ‘I only work with my lawyer. I’m happy at Galatasaray,’” the journalist added.
The Nigerian striker plays for Galatasaray S.K., who signed him permanently from Napoli for €75 million in July 2025.
Osimhen has also been linked with several high-profile transfer moves, with reports indicating that European clubs and Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal had made offers worth between €120 million and €130 million for his services.
