Rita Edochie celebrates Lizzy Gold, takes fresh swipe at Judy Austin

Nollywood actress Rita Edochie has taken another apparent swipe at her colleague, Judy Austin, while celebrating actress Lizzy Gold in a social media post in which she described her as a “silent operator”.
In a video shared on her Facebook page on Sunday, Edochie played a clip originally posted by Gold on her phone while recording her reaction to it.
Accompanying the video with a lengthy caption, the actress expressed excitement over what she suggested were developments in favour of her camp. She began the post by writing, “AND MY LORD JESUS CHRIST DECIDED TO USE AN ITSEKIRI TO DO HIS WORK OF VENGEANCE.”
Describing Gold as the “new bride”, Edochie praised her for being quiet but effective, writing, “Our new bride doesn’t talk much, but then again, her doings dey! She is such a silent operator. Her page dey inspire me oooov, I swear.”
However, the actress also made sarcastic remarks about alleged threats involving a woman and a baby, reproducing the words: “K1LL HER BABY….. K1LL HER…. PR£SS HER N£CK BABY…. PRESS HER NECK!”
In another apparent reference to the controversy involving Austin, Edochie declared, “ASA COLLECT HER STOLEN MAN OSISO! ONWELO!” She also hinted at further legal developments, writing, “ANOTHER COURT CASE LOADING ON THE 24TH OF NOVEMBER,” while suggesting that her camp was watching events unfold.
Her remarks come amid an ongoing legal dispute with Austin, who filed separate N1 billion defamation suits against Edochie and her former husband, Emmanuel Obasi. The cases were adjourned until November 24, 2026, by the FCT High Court in Abuja.
Edochie further urged her followers not to mistake silence for weakness, writing: “Sometimes you don’t need to say too much. Just watch how events unfold. When people think silence means weakness, life has a way of teaching them otherwise.”
