APC begins digital verification of membership register in Ondo

The Ondo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress has approved the use of electronic registration to verify and update its membership list across the state.

The decision was reached at the State Executive Committee meeting held at the party secretariat in Akure and chaired by the State Chairman, Engr. Ade Adetimehin.

According to the party, the digital system aims to create a secure and reliable database of members in all 18 local government areas.

The meeting also reiterated the party’s resolve to deliver a strong bloc of votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.

Adetimehin explained that the platform would give both state and national leaders access to accurate and verifiable membership records.

He urged local government and ward leaders to take the exercise seriously, as training would be conducted for 18 resource persons who will guide ward officers during implementation.

The party revealed that the registration of the state governor, Dr Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, will signal the commencement of the exercise, while a committee led by the State Organising Secretary, Charles Fagbohunka, will supervise the process.
