APC’s Akinloye declared winner of chairmanship election in Eredo LCDA
The All Progressives Congress (APC) chairmanship candidate, Ismail Monsuru Akinloye, has been declared winner of the Chairmanship election in Eredo Local Council Development Area.
Akinloye polled 20,071 votes while the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Adenuga Akeem polled 424 votes.
It would be recalled that the Lagos Council elections was held on Saturday for the positions of Chairmen and Councillors across the State.
The elections were marked by peaceful voting but low voter turnout in most council areas.
In his post-election remarks, Akinloye thanked the people of Eredo for their trust and support.
“This victory belongs to the people. It is a mandate for continuity, development, and inclusive governance,” he said.
