…as PDP wins one councillorship seat in Yaba LCDA

The Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC) has declared the All Progressives Congress (APC) winner of all chairmanship seats in the Lagos local government elections held on Saturday July 12, 2025.

APC won the Chairmanship seats in the 20 local governments and 37 Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) in the State.

For the Councillorship contest, APC won 375 seats while the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) won 1 seat at Ward D in Yaba Local Council Development Area.

This was announced by the Chairman of the Commission, Justice Bola Okikiolu-Ighile, at a press conference on Sunday.

She stated that the results had been duly ratified at collation centers.
