Massive turnout as APC’s Usman Hamzat steps out to vote in Ifako-Ijaiye

Voting has commenced at Ward C1, Unit 027 in Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government Area of Lagos State, with a massive turnout of voters reported on Saturday morning.

The exercise, which initially experienced delays due to the late arrival of officials from the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC) and security personnel, eventually began after 9:00 a.m.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) chairmanship candidate and incumbent, Prince Usman Akanbi Hamzat, was among the first to cast his vote, drawing cheers from supporters as he arrived at the polling unit.

Despite the late start, the polling unit witnessed a strong voter presence, with residents showing enthusiasm to participate in the local council election.
